Our refurbished Mill is one of the focal points of Aldwark Water Activity centre. Boasting sleeping accommodation for 58 people! The building also houses a full kitchen, and indoor spaces for groups to utilise during their stays with us. We also are able to hire these spaces out for groups that are camping to use if they require the indoor space.
Dormitories
The sleeping accommodation is split between two dormitory style sleeping quarters, The Main Dormitory and the Cloth Workers Wing. The Main Dormitory boasts 26 beds with a further two beds for adults in an adjacent room. Whilst the Cloth Workers Wing has one 20 bed dormitory, two 4 bed rooms and one 2 bed room. These various size rooms offer lots of options for groups of all shapes and sizes coming to stay with us. The all rooms have bunk beds with mattresses, however groups are asked to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows!
The Galley (Kitchen)
The Galley comes complete with a large oven, hot cupboard, refrigerator and separate upright freezer. The Galley offers spacious cooking facilities for 58 people and a dining area big enough to serve them in one sitting. All equipment is provided in the kitchen to help you prepare the days meals!
